TGIF

Well today the kids woke me up. I really didn't want to get out of bed , but there is no reasoning with hungry kids. lol Sophie seemed to be doing a little better today. Still a bit cranky , but I saw an improvement from the other day. After Lunch I asked the kids if they wanted to visit nana. RoseAnna says "which Nana?" I said " Rorrieee and chester Nana" She says " MOM it's green Nana.. I'm not 4 anymore I'm so exhausted with that" lol SOOOO cute.
So we went to my moms and the kids helped nana in the back yard by cleaning the sand box and all the toys in it. Then My mom and I uncovered all her patio furniture and cleaned under her gazebo. One less thing for daddy to do this spring. The Weather was just gorgeous! The kids enjoyed playing outside and Sophie discovered grass for the first time. She wasn't too sure about walking on it.. and was a little hesitant on touching it. But in the end she had fun and Nana got a lot of pics of her in her sun dress.
We left and headed home and my honey got home from work. We pretty much bummed the rest of the evening. I washed and flat ironed my hair and I have to get up tomorrow and go to work.
Not much to blog about but that was my day:)

Getting started

Well I am jumping on another family band wagon. My family got me into myspace..then dragged me to twitter...then to facebook.. and now here we are.
Well today went well. Sophie has a double ear infection so I didn't get much done around the house because she was cranky and needed held a lot. I didn't mind though, but my arms did get pretty tired.
The kids helped me make dinner. We started off with a awesome salad. We are addicted to good salads at this house. It usually starts off with a bag of pre-made salad mix, then we add fresh Roman lettuce, some spinach, cherry tomatoes, black olives, peppers, and lots of cheese. We always top it with salad dressing right into the bowl and mix it around. For some reason this tastes better than putting the salad dressing on each individuals plate.. You always get the right amount of dressing. Then we had Ham and Au gratin Potatoes. It was yummy.
After dinner we went to my girlfriends house. She just got engaged and we went to see the ring and visit with her and her fiance. The guys hit it off well. They took the kids to the park.. 2 men 7 kids.. it was fun to watch lol. They did good though and brought all the children back alive and unharmed lol. I hope Jason and Rich become good friends. Jason is in need of a friend and some male bonding. He doesn't go out or hang out with any guy friends. Sometimes I feel like he might just get sick of me , as I am his only friend. I pray all the time God will send him a good guy friend that he can talk to about things he can't talk to me about.
Now we are home and we are fighting with the kids to get to sleep so we can have our alone time. Hope tomorrow is as beautiful as today was:)
